White Walls No More
I admire parents who have the talent and motivation to paint murals for their kids’ bedrooms. My own kids’ rooms remain stark white, because I haven’t had the free weekend to devote to acquiring supplies, emptying rooms, designing murals, and then painting the walls. And honestly, visions of toddler-sized hand prints made of paint around the house are enough to keep me from tackling that particular decorating challenge.
I think I’ve found the perfect solution for adding some life to those blank walls: the vinyl Mimi’lou wall art decals available at Zoe B online boutique. Pretty up the nursery with butterfly wall decals, or add humor to your kids’ playroom with an elephant and mouse. If these designs don’t catch your attention, check out the special order patterns, which include dinosaurs, colorful stars and blue bubbles.
Not only are Mimi’lou’s designs whimsical and fun, but they’re easy to apply — just transfer them to a flat surface, then stand back and admire. Now that’s my kind of an art project. –Nancy
I never thought twice about diapering my son with the eco-not-so-conscious disposable diaper. I have to admit, I thought that cloth diapers were still big cotton towels that required safety pins, manual dexterity, and a whole lot of free time.
Don’t get any sick ideas, dear readers. We’ve all seen our share of those softies and we certainly don’t need a stuffed one of THOSE laying around the house.
When my 3 year old was a newborn we planned a trip to Europe and before I could say auf viedersehn, my brain pictured all the filthy traveling potties we would encounter while changing her diaper.
